During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.
A number of civilians were wounded while residents in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and encountered disruption to water supplies, as stated by city officials.
At the same time, a minor was lost their life in a different aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, based on information from area administrators.
Moscow has escalated attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "substantial measures" from allies to exert influence on Moscow.
"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the America, European nations and the G7 - in delivering protection systems and applying sanctions," was stated in a public message.
Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty missiles targeted energy facilities, labeling such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.
Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were working to restore power.
A barrage of missiles hit electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.
Multiple people hurt in the strikes on the city have been transported for medical care, according to municipal representatives.
Area administrators said the metropolitan region experienced heavy assaults during nighttime hours. A young boy died and multiple civilians were hurt.
The assaults succeed nights of bombing campaigns in the region, parts of which remain under the control of invading troops.
The entire country is in a state of readiness for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to detect.
National leaders told journalists that Moscow was purposely seeking to destroy the country's energy grid, with strikes already disrupting fuel infrastructure.
Officials stated energy workers and officials were bracing for further attacks.
